Since moving to Oz 16 years (gosh has it really been that long?) my visit back home is usually spent traipsing between Wales and England, catching up with my wonderful friends and family. This year, however, my dad is having a knee operation, so I wanted to spend my annual leave with my parents. In between all the visiting, I decided to squeeze a week in Cornwall with my family.
Can you believe it, but me, the wanderer, went to Great Britain for my holidays?
Very tame for me!
I haven’t holidayed in the UK since I was a little girl. I had forgotten how beautiful a country it is, with it’s stunning, rugged coastline; quaint little villages; ridiculously old buildings; dramatic skies; and also how green it is. These are some of my favourite pictures of my short time in gorgeous Cornwall.
