Settling into my Nepali Homestay

I moved into my home stay on Sunday. It is a beautiful 5 storey house in a lovely part of Kathmandu. I don’t think many Nepali’s live in houses like this. TEFL Graduation Day and Dinner

I graduated on Saturday, so I can officially Teach English as a Foreign Language :o) Poor children :-s Graduation dinner at a local restaurant.  Yummy delights such as buffalo, goats inners, chicken throat flaps, egg pizza. I skipped the gin and a dash of tonic. My head thanked me in the morning.  

Last Day of the TEFL Course

Wooo hooooo!!!! 85% on Grammar, 79% Phonology.  Yesterday was my last day of the TEFL course.  It was manic: I was up late the night before and awake at 5:45am studying for my exams, a Song and Chants class in the morning and then the test in the afternoon. Teaching Year 4

The TEFL course has been full on over the last week. If I haven’t had class, I have been doing assignments or preparing lesson plans.
