Planes, Planes and more Planes

I had a very long 2-day journey back to Sydney – Dubrovnik to Zadar to Frankfurt to Seoul and finally to Sydney – home sweet home.  Not a trip I’d recommend. :oS

At Frankfurt, I had to retrieve all my luggage since my next leg was with a different airline.  With 9 hours to kill I decided to dump my bags in storage and catch the train into the city.  I then spent the next few hours walking around the city like a zombie; I was absolutely exhausted since I had a 4am start and I cannot sleep on planes. :o(  If anyone knows the secret of getting your zzzz’s in the air, then please, please, please share it with me.

Bikes, Bikes, Bikes

I had planned to meet a friend for coffee in Seoul; however, I got muddled with my days.  On arrival into South Korea, I called Jenni to say “helloooo I’m here”, to find out she was expecting me the day before and was not around – doh!!  I still decided to venture out of the airport and I had a smoothie for one, then fought off sleep as I made my way back to the airport.  A quick shower and a change of clothes helped make me feel human again.

Hmmm – is there an English menu?

Finally, after another long flight and no sleep, I fall into my lovely bed in Sydney.  The best bed in the world zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  However, this is not the end of my travels.  Work contacted me to see if I fancied working in Taiwan for a few weeks.  Therefore tomorrow I’m jumping back on yet another plane.  Next blog Taipei.
